Culture shock

If you were not here where would you be? New York or California
Do you go out with Italians or you don't care? Only with the ones that I consider my friends...many Italian leave the UK after a bit and because I tend to get very affectionate then it hurts me.
Do you read in Italian or English? Mainly in English, but sometimes I crave a good Italian book
.... and what do you like to read? In the summer some "chick flicks" and during winter fictiosn or thrillers. When I go to Italy I am always looking for the new "Baricco" and "De Carlo" but I have not found anything yet, any suggestions?

When you come back from Puglia what do you bring back? The impossible! But my must are: Abbracci by Mulino Bianco, Grisbi, Ringo, Tagliatelle, Fettuccine, Orecchiette and fresh Cavatelli Pesto alla Siciliana Barilla, Olive Sacla and lots of wine
When you go to Puglia what do you take with you? Many oresents and often techy gadgets for my parents and relatives. I make sure I put skirts and sandals in my suitcase: I can rarely wear them here because of the weather!
You really feel English when ...... If I eat a roast meat sandwich, I realise I need to have Wholegrain Mustard
You really feel Pugliese when… When I speak dialect with my flatmate that comes from Bari
