Apulian Cookery Course, 18th February 2012
Join our first Apulian Cookery Class to learn two of the most traditional recipes from the Apulian cusine: “Orecchiette con le cime di rapa” and “Pittule”.
The course’s first chapter will be held on the 18th February 2012 and will last for 3 hours, from 11:30 am to 2:30pm, at the end of which you will be able to enjoy with fellow students a meal made of the food you have prepared during the day.
The class will be taught by some of the Friends of Puglia members who will bring their grandmas’ and mothers’ recipes and secrets and guide you through learning how to make pasta and a very peculiar type of focaccia, all of this by hand, using ingredients you will be able to find in London, thanks to our main sponsor, La Pizzica, a delicatessen in Fulham (837 Fulham Road, London SW6 5HQ), where you can purchase most of the ingredients used during the course.
The cost of the class is £20, which includes the meal you have prepared. Spaces are very limited so book your place now:
- email eventi@friendsofpuglia.org with your Name, Surname, Email Address and Telephone Number to register your interest
- pay directly via PayPal at morena2k@hotmail.com or request bank details via email at eventi@friendsofpuglia.org
- if you are not a member of Friends of Puglia yet, join online for free http://goo.gl/QG8I3 (you will need to be a member of the Association to take part to the course).
Please send us an email and payment as soon as you can, we’re taking bookings until the 4th February or until sold out.
Looking forward to be cooking with you!
