Aperitif at La Pizzica
On 12th September 2009 we have celebrated two important landmarks: the re-launch of our website and the fact that for the third year running we are your first port of call for anything regarding Puglia and Apulians in the UK.
Carnival Wine Tasting
We were not able (but we're on the case) to bring the traditional floats from Putignano, Manfredonia or Massafra. However we have celebrated Carnival with an expert wine presentation and tasting from Salento, complemented by a number of traditional local delicacies, including, our beloved “chiacchiere” fritters.
Oria, 27 Dicembre 2008
With the intention to better know our Puglia, each year during our Christmas holidays we visit a city in the region, whose beauty and secrets are shown to other members by the local FOP members. This year, on 27 December we have visited Oria.
San Martino 2008
This year Friends of Puglia has celebrated a festival in London, very cherished in Puglia: the feast of St. Martin, when traditionally the must becomes wine.
